Pennsylvanians provide input on outdoor recreation to guide policies, programs, and investments

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources used Lion Poll data, public survey findings, and results from a recreation providers survey to inform and guide their 2025-2029 Pennsylvania Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). The study highlights mental health benefits, Pennsylvanians top outdoor activities, support for funding, modernization needs, economic impact, barriers, equity concerns, and recreation provider challenges.
