Vision and Mission

PaCLR is committed to fostering research and dialogue that reflect the experiences of Latino communities in Pennsylvania. As part of Penn State’s land-grant mission, the Center aims to promote public policy and integrate Latino perspectives into the state’s civic and cultural landscape. Our mission involves collecting and analyzing actionable data to inform policy, drive community engagement, and enhance social well-being throughout Pennsylvania.

The Future Vision Task Force will play a pivotal role in guiding the Center’s research agenda and public engagement strategies. We invite community leaders, advocates, policymakers, educators, healthcare professionals, and researchers to join this initiative, offering expertise and strategic insights to build a thriving future for Latino communities in Pennsylvania.

Partnering with the Pennsylvania State Data Center, PaCLR offers a range of information resources, including demographic profiles, data dashboards, and interactive maps that highlight trends within Latino communities.

Conducting a representative statewide survey of Hispanic and Latino Pennsylvanians, in partnership with Penn State's Center for Survey Research, to provide insights into the opinions and behaviors of the community.
