Ellory Dabbs is a mixed-methods researcher, skilled in both qualitative and quantitative methods. At the Center for Survey Research, she collects data through interviews, focus groups, surveys, and experimental design techniques. Ellory enjoys learning what people think about different social science topics as well as working with her teammates to develop research studies that can help answer complex questions.

Translating technical material into meaningful information for “non-techie” people is what motivates Ellory in her work. “I think it’s really cool to take a dataset and turn it into something that people with no data analysis background can easily understand—and even have fun using,” she says.
