For the 2020 Census Redistricting Data Project, LDPC partnered with the PaSDC to collect, digitize, submit, and verify the voting district and census block boundary data for Pennsylvania that were used to produce the Redistricting Data File (P.L. 94-171), which is critical for redrawing congressional and state legislative district boundaries. The PaSDC prepared files from the Redistricting Data Files released by the Census Bureau, in the format needed for the state's redistricting work, and identified and resolved voting district boundary differences, adjusting population counts as needed.
