The Pennsylvania Department of Health partners with the PaSDC to produce annual state- and county-level single years of age (0-19) population estimates by gender and race and ethnicity as well as total population information for Pennsylvania municipalities. This data is used by The Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Informatics and Information Technology, Division of Health Informatics for the production of vital statistics rates and epidemiological research.
