An Exploration of Adult Guardianship Proceedings in Pennsylvania
The Exploration of Adult Guardianship Proceedings in Pennsylvania project is a collaborative effort between the Center for Survey Research, the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, and Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Through a series of English and Spanish focus groups and interviews, this study explores the experiences of guardians, family members, and guardianship advocates who have been involved in guardianship proceedings; guardian monitoring capabilities to prevent abuse and exploitation; and alternatives to guardianship.
