Sue Copella retires after 30 years as Pennsylvania State Data Center Director

Sue Copella retired from ISRA on September 30, 2022 after serving as the Director of the Pennsylvania State Date Center from 1992 to 2022. In her time with the Pennsylvania State Data Center, Sue was the state liaison for the National State Data Center Program, Federal State Cooperative for Population Estimates, and Federal State Cooperative for Population Projections. Sue also led hundreds of projects totaling over $14 million. Prior to coming to the Pennsylvania State Data Center, Sue worked for both a regional and county planning agency and an economic development board. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Urban Studies and Geography.
