The Pennsylvania State Data Center reviews the 2022 American Community Survey Survey 1-Year Estimates

The U.S. Census Bureau today released a new set of estimates from the American Community Survey (ACS) for the year 2022, showing twenty-seven states had a higher percentage of people with health insurance coverage in 2022 than in 2021. Pennsylvania experienced an increase in the percentage of people with health insurance coverage from 94.5% in 2021 to 94.7% in 2022. Between 2021 and 2022, the rate of public coverage increased in Pennsylvania from 38.2% to 38.8%.
