ISRA researcher discussed findings at the National Hazard Mitigation Association Practitioner’s Meeting

Nicole Sturges represented the Institute of State & Regional Affairs (ISRA) team at the National Hazard Mitigation Association (NHMA) annual Practitioner's Meeting in Colorado. The annual meeting brings together researchers, practitioners, and subject matter experts to share success stories of past and present resiliency implementations that will contribute to a safer tomorrow.

Nicole was part of a panel presentation highlighting key mitigation partnerships that put research to practice. The panel featured Penn State University's partnership with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) and findings from ISRA's recent research study, Partnering for Protection: A Study of Flood Insurance in Pennsylvania Across Three Professional Roles.
