Aaron Koontz

Aaron Koontz joined the Pennsylvania State Data Center in 2007. His work there involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to research projects. He has contributed to the center’s crime justice trend reports, population estimates and projections, census data, and the special education project with the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Aaron particularly enjoys working on population projections. “It is interesting to see the latest methodology and how the population changes over time, while also trying to figure out what has caused any significant change,” he notes.
